The TSC DA310 is a compact 4-inch direct thermal desktop printer with 300 dpi resolution, made for sharp barcodes and small text without the cost of a ribbon. It is the 300 dpi version of the DA210 and connects by USB, which makes it an easy upgrade for pharmacies, clinics, jewellery and electronics shops, and sellers who print small product labels.

It also prints standard 4 x 6 inch shipping labels, although 203 dpi is enough for those.
How it compares
The TSC DA210 uses the same body at 203 dpi and runs faster at 6 ips, so it is the better fit for large shipping labels. The DA310 replaces the older DA300 as the 300 dpi direct thermal choice. If your labels must resist heat, rubbing or long storage, choose a 300 dpi thermal transfer model such as the TSC TE310.
Frequently asked questions
Does the DA310 need a ribbon?
No. It prints only on direct thermal labels. For durable labels on synthetic material, a thermal transfer printer with a ribbon is the right choice.
Which label sizes does it support?
Media from 19 mm to 114 mm wide, 0.055 to 0.19 mm thick, on rolls up to 127 mm outside diameter with a 1 to 1.5 inch core. Die-cut, continuous, black mark and fan-fold media all work.
Is it compatible with BarTender?
Yes. TSC Windows drivers work with BarTender, and the printer also accepts EPL and ZPL style commands for direct printing from business software.

Warranty in India
New TSC printers carry a 1-year warranty from the date of invoice, with these conditions:
- Printhead: 25 km of printing or 1 year, whichever is earlier
- Platen roller: 25 km of printing
- Power adaptor: 3 months from the date of invoice
Extended warranty and care packs must be bought together with the new printer.
